*****GIVEAWAY IS CLOSED.  Congratulations to the winner, Laura Smith.*****

It’s another giveaway! I said earlier that I LOVE the Northwest Arkansas Boutique Show. I really do. My friends at the show gave me  2 tickets to give away to Girls Night on Friday, November 9 (giveaway is closed) AND my Junior League buddies gave me the the NWA Junior League’s cookbook, Add Another Place Setting, to give away, too!  You can buy them at the show as well, and I highly recommend it.

I’ve had this cookbook for awhile now, and every recipe I’ve tried has been good.   I made this Pumpkin Pie Dip for the teachers to enjoy during Parent/Teacher Conferences last week, and I guess they liked it, because it was all gone!  I did adjust the original recipe a bit, but I always do…

Pumpkin Pie Dip

16 ounces cream cheese, softened

4 cups powdered sugar

1 30 oz. can pumpkin

1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice

1 tablespoon cinnamon

2 teaspoons vanilla

Beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar with a mixer until smooth.  Add pumpkin, pumpkin pie spice, cinnamon, and vanilla.   Mix well.  Spoon into a small hollowed pumpkin and serve with gingersnaps and pretzels.

Hint: rub vegetable oil on the outside of the pumpkin to make it shiny and pretty for serving the Pumpkin Pie Dip.

To enter to win Add Another Place Setting, comment on this post telling me your favorite dessert recipe.    Remember, you can buy copies at NWA Boutique Show on November 9-10, too.  I’ll draw the winner on Wednesday, November 7 at noon.
