We’ve got a situation here in Northwest Arkansas.  We’ve got snow and it’s not going anywhere.  And more is coming!  So we are doing our part to get rid of the snow by eating it!

My sweet friend and neighbor brought us a pot of soup for dinner last night (with cornbread, yum!), so for dessert, we whipped up a batch of Snow Ice Cream.

This really isn’t even a recipe.  Dump a can of sweetened condensed milk into a bunch of snow.  Add a little vanilla if you want to be fancy.

Snow Ice Cream

6 cups fresh snow

1 can sweetened condensed milk

1 teaspoon vanilla

Add snow to a large bowl.  Add sweetened condensed milk and stir until you achieve your desired consistency.  More milk will give you a thicker ice cream.  Add vanilla.  Serve immediately.
