Every Southerner has her own way of making Chicken and Dumplings. This is my favorite way for a rainy, cold day.



Easy Chicken and Dumplings


4 cups chicken stock
white meat from rotisserie chicken, shredded
2 cups Bisquick
2/3 cup milk

salt and pepper to taste


Bring chicken stock to a boil.  Meanwhile, mix Bisquick and milk to form a soft dough.  Drop by small pieces into boiling stock.  Cook for 10 minutes.  Add shredded chicken. Salt and pepper to taste.
